We are seeking a full-time, experienced Fire and Security Alarm Technician to join our dynamic and growing team! In this role, you will have the opportunity to travel to various locations and job sites, installing or repairing residential and commercial fire and security systems. This may also include access control, CCTV, and other security measures. The ideal candidate has experience with commercial and residential fire and security installation and repair, strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, and analytical thinking.
Responsibilities
- Travel to various locations in Maine and New Hampshire and independently program, service, inspect, and troubleshoot basic and complex fire and security alarm systems
- As a part of a small team, install new fire and security systems
- Attend weekly team meetings
- Maintain appropriate equipment and restock vehicle and supplies as needed
- Maintain thorough and accurate logs of work completed at all times
- Communicate and coordinate with co-workers, customers, builders, and office staff as necessary to achieve daily workload goals
Qualifications
- A low-voltage electrical license with industry experience
- Experience with DMP products is a plus
- Knowledge of NFPA72, NEC, and Industry Standards for fire alarm installation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Excellent work ethic
Compensation: $52,000.00 - $83,000.00 per year
