In today's economy, more and more companies
are giving a back seat to old-fashioned customer service as they
focus instead on saving money and boosting their bottom lines.

I'm proud to say Centa-Larm monitoring is
one of those companies.
I've been in the security industry for more
than 30 years and first started installing alarms out of the
trunk of my car. This
industry has been good to me and has given me the opportunity to
associate with numerous professionals who insist on quality
workmanship and “doing it right.”
Over the past years, this industry has gone
through many changes. Today's
technology is a far cry from the electro-mechanical relay
systems with end of line batteries that were prominent in the
late 60’s and early 70’s.
The auto dialer was the first communication over a
dial-up telephone line and allowed people to notify someone else
if their alarm went off.
Now we are starting to use the Internet as
a means of communication, in addition to cellular, radios, and
satellites. We also
have the contract central station, which specializes in
professional, timely response to alarms — as opposed to years
ago when the call went to a neighbor or directly to the police.
Yet, as alarm technology becomes more
advanced, the cost of doing business has increased — and
personal service has become less of a priority.
The good news is, at Centra-Larm, we believe that
personal service is the crux of the alarm industry. That's
why whenever you call us, a live operator will answer the phone
— not an automated system. Our customer service professionals
are there to solve your problems and to help you do business.
