About Us

Scott Matthews - Owner
Founded American Security in 1984.  He has lived in Sanford area most of his life but is originally from Connecticut.  He has worked in the security industry for over 25 years.  He holds degrees in Fire Science.

Victoria Logan - Office Manager
Vickey started working with American Security in 1986.  She oversees the daily business affairs and assists with customer service.

Andy Rivard - Installation Manager
Andy is the head of the installation department.  He came to American Security from the Air Force in 1988.  If Andy can't fix it, then it can't be fixed.  He is also an avid dirt bike rider.

Corey Farwell - Sales & Service
Corey started with American Security in 1999.  He originally started as a service technician and has transitioned into sales & contractor support.

Kevin Collins - Technician
Kevin lives in Kennebunk with his wife.  He has been with American Security since 1993.  He is a seasoned veteran of the alarm industry with 25 years experience.  If they can manufacture it, Kevin can install it.

Lisa Rodney - Secretary
You can catch her in the office on Thursdays and Fridays, when she is not running her candle shop "White Cat Creations" in Acton, Maine.  Lisa brings an extensive customer service background with her and has made a nice addition to the team.

John Roberts -Technician
John is the newest Technician with American.  He has a strong electrical background.  John is also a marine mechanic. 

John Egan- Service Technician
John came to
American Security in 2004 after 21 years in the military.  John was a computer technician with the Air force.  He moved to Maine from Colorado to be closer to his family.
